Steem Riddle of the Week #13: Picking Coins

Steem Riddle of the Week #13: Picking Coins

This week, once again, I'm asking that everyone who posts a solution, obfuscate it , but this time with a new tool that also obfuscates both letters and numbers. Go here: https://cryptii.com/rot13 and select rot18. That way others can more easily take part without worrying about spoilers.

This weeks riddle

Imagine there is a row of N coins each with different denominations. So far example, if N was 3 it could be a penny, then a dime, then a quarter. Any denomination is possible, it doesn't need to be a real coin, there could a be a coin worth $1,000,000.

Set N to 50, so there are 50 coins in the row. You and your opponent will alternate picking a coin either from the left end of the row or the right end of the row. Prove that if you go first, you can always get at least half of the money.
