The mosque in Makkah is the most celebrated and prestigious mosque in the history of Islam, after Haram, the Nawabi at the mosque in Madinah and the Aksara mosque in Jerusalem. The Hadith states that if one performs the prayers in this mosque, then there will be equal reward for the Umrah. This is the first mosque built in the history of Islam after the Prophecy. The mosque is the first built mosque in the history of Cuba Islam.



 

The Prophet (peace be upon him) erected this mosque in Kuba, near Madinah, when he was exiled from Mecca to Medina. Earlier, he did not build a mosque in Mecca. On the first day of the emigration, Cuba established the foundation of this mosque. The Prophet himself (peace be upon him) participated with the disciples in the construction of the mosque.

Location


The mosque is located in the village of Kuba, 120 km north of Mecca Sharif and in the southwest corner of Madinah. The distance from the nawabi to the mosque is only five kilometers.


Nomenclature


Cuba is the name of a famous well. In the course of time, the population that developed this well, called Kuba. From this source the name of the mosque becomes Kuba.


Cuba in the mosque in the language of the Quran


In the Holy Quran, Allah praises the people of Kuba and the Kubas in the mosque. He said, 'It is more fitting for you to stay in the mosque that has been established on the shelter since day one. There are some people who love holiness. And Allah loves the holy ones. '(Sura: Repentance, Verse: 1)


The benefits of offering prayers in the mosque in Kuba


Many hadiths have been mentioned in the mosque as well as the many benefits of offering prayers in Kuba. Ibn 'Umar (ra) narrates, "The Messenger of Allah (saw) used to ride or walk in the mosque to Kubah and perform two rak'ats. 'There is another hadith,' every Saturday the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to come to Kuba. '- Bukhari and Muslim


Another hadith states, “The reward of offering prayers in the mosque in the mosque is similar to that of an umrah. '- Tsunade in the sun


The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) further said, "A person who attains good sanctity in his home (after performing circumcision ajou) by coming to Quba at the mosque and offering prayers in the mosque will be given an equal reward." 'Ibn Majah

After the establishment, regimes like Usman ibn Afan (ra), Omar bin Abdul Aziz (ra), the Ottoman sultan II Mahmud and his son Abdul Majid, reformed the Kubah mosque. King Fahad bin Abdul Aziz Ale was the last extension during the Saud.


The current status of the mosque


The current volume of the mosque in the mosque is 5,700 square meters. Twenty thousand Muslims can pray together at this mosque. Besides the main mosque, there are residential areas, offices, azukhana, shops and libraries. The main attraction of the mosque, however, is the huge dome and four towering minarets in each corner. White stone was used extensively during the renovation of the mosque in the 5th century. The subjugated palm trees around the mosque gave the mosque extra beauty.
