remember I told you about revolut being a nice way to do mobile banking? Well tomorrow they activate cryptocurrency support!

I had no idea they were already running a beta but it seems that 10,000 people had access to the beta and have already pushed a million through it in trades, I personally think we are about to see one platform that’s gonna be the defacto card and mobile account management application that’s gonna sky rocket this into the masses because the interface is so easy to use.

you can check out the post over on https://techcrunch.com/2017/12/05/revolut-cryptocurrency - Revolut is merging traditional banking and cryptocurrency to let you buy, sell, trade, and hold Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ether alongside 25 world fiat currencies. The $90 million-funded mobile banking startup is trying to erase the divide between old and new money.

So as you can imagine I’m really happy about this.

more than anything it gives me choice, it gives me the ability to load the account and use the account with the Apple Pay wallet which means I can pay for things finally at the till with a phone, I’ve been wanting to do that forever, my poor paypal card is thrashed and really I want to close that account down anyway, I’ve had that for over a decade, time to close it out and move onto the new financial systems (with backups of course)

https://www.revolut.com if you wanna get yaself an account, if your a digital nomad on the go (run?) then you might wanna check out the business account as well.

You can get a physical card with these guys for £10 and in conjunction with my crypto pay virtual cards gives me a solid footing moving forward. I’ll certainly be looking at a handful of other cards as well and will probably start to divvy up different accounts holding different balances to have a better spread as we start to roll out on some of the ideas I’ve had for the .ee domains, right now it’s about building up the savings to ramp up the video quality and to upgrade existing software to the latest versions.
