What do you look for in a movie? An emotional rollercoaster ride? Vivid imaginings? Spectacular visuals? Engaging characters? Edge-of-the-seat action? Nail-biting suspense? Snarky one lines? Impressionable storylines? Reverberating music? Well, Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War has got you covered on all these grounds!

Marvel has been consistently upping its game and Infinity War follows close on the heels of blockbuster hit, Black Panther. Rather large vibranium shoes to fill, you'd think. But bring on the big guns, jet suits, spaceships and infinity stones, for the film truly delivers!

With a whole gamut of superheroes in one film, it's easy to assume the frame is too small to justify all their presence. However, AIW plays this attractive card to its advantage. All your fave heroes are given equal space and purpose (ok, almost everyone).

The film's complexities are more enjoyable for hardcore fans who follow the multiple other Marvel films since 2008's Iron Man. This is simply because the plots and timelines finally converge here. But that's not to say a non-MCU movie-goer won't be besotted with the film. Heck, a lot of superheroes are introduced to each other for the first time in this film! A puzzled Bruce Banner even asks, "There's an Ant-Man AND a Spider-Man?"

Tony Starks (Robert Downey Jr.), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberboatch) and their battle of wit and sarcasm deliver plenty of LOL moments. Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) is fighting the evil within and without. Peter Parker (Tom Holland), a true Gen Y kid, peppers the film with his pop culture references. Thor (Chris Hensworth) and Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) rewrite the bro-code.

But the film truly belongs to its badass villain Thanos (Josh Brolin). His single-minded path to destruction and world dominance, set against the backdrop of his relationships with daughters Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and Nedula (Karen Gillan) make for effecting moments.

Overall, this is an Avengers film that has set the bar high for the forthcoming crossover films.
