A little "review" of this camera.... coasting around 450.- €...
i get it at december and made some experiences with it... but the battery pack was very shorthanded... and the software only with the smartphone manageable... but now there are steps of develompent. I got a battery loader pack and two more batteries which gives me more possibilities to make videos and photos in this 360 format.
And since yesterday there is a desktop version of the 360 studio one software with very good workingspace.
It is very simple: you make your film on location and dont need to look about it, because the two 180 degree cameras see everything before and after you... And on the desktop you make with the free capture modus very smooth 2D videos from your footage. But is this honestly a professional tool? Or is the reached quality only making sense for instagram and facebook or youtube presentations. I am not sure - because the resolution of the movies is quite good: 5,7k. But the results are not so detailed as i would expect. Here are some examples.. the advantage of the camera is its smallness. you can take it as a second or third camera unit...normally it`s a action cam, but you can also make very smooth gimbal like shots with ist or timelapse/timewarp. I have some big journeys in my pipeline this year (Bhutan/Nepal/Uganda) and i will make some experiments with animals/landscapes and temples. this will be continued....
