This is a perfect game for brain. Of course you will be better at a game when you play regularly. But if you want to improve your memorising names skill, focus it more on while speaking. If you want to react quickly in sports, driving car etc, try to spend your time in these areas more. Most of professional athletes don't have quicker reactions then others when they are out of their profession. This application won't make you learn a language quicker either. Just train, practice, study.
I find myself improving at the games and hope this transfers to real life! Great app.
