hitting that 69 and 100,000k HUNT life

Feels like it’s been a long time coming but here we are finally rolling on up to that fabled 70 rep and we just hit that 69 rep, pretty pumped about it, all being well and if my momentum stays up this way we should be well on our way to the 70 level by the time that steemfest 3 rolls around, I’ve never been more excited for an event with like minded people.

Also some great news is that I’ve hit that 100,000 HUNT token life on steemhunt and I could not be happier, I’ve been extremely dedicated to the platform since it came out and I’m really concreted into the near future and beyond of that platform — everything just ramps up from here, all of the video, all of the tutorials, all of the outreach, regular social awareness.

I’m kinda treating steemhunt as a client in some regards in the approach — making sure I have regular ‘content’ as such with videos and blog posts but also trying to build the community by showing people how to improve the post they put up which in turn improves the signup rate and on boarding indirectly — I certainly know that new tools keep dropping on my radar.

i honestly believe that the team from steemhunt are really on to something here with the way that products, brand advocates and influencers are going to function in the years to come, especially when you connect a blockchain too it and the SMT (smart media token) side of steemit when it launches in march next year (2019) is gonna be at the fore front of that push, I certainly see early adopters of this niche place accelerating their position as direct to media marketplace share holders.

The old way was certainly an agency getting contracts from brands looking for influencers — now the tables have turned a little bit because anyone with a moderate investment, great storytelling, fantastic quality video and audio can position themselves to build an audience — the market place for approaching influencers and their communities has changed and brands are looking for more value from their investment.

The upcoming ability to track, cross reference and pay as you direct from brands to advocate and influencer will also open up a new more dynamic market place for brands and influencers to co-exist together — building a really active and engaged real community instead of some spread out youtube spray and pray.
