Relisha Rudd was abducted on March 19, 2014. She went missing from the Washington DC area. Considering the folks that live and work in and around DC we have no idea where she is. There is no proof she is even still in America.
She has been missing for five years. Granted Jayce Deregard was missing 18 years before she came home, she didn't go missing from the DC area. Why is DC so different? There are diplomats from all over the world. Including Saudi Arabia, with the worst record on women's human rights. That is the difference between a child that goes missing from DC and other states.
On top of that Relisha probably didn't come from a prosperous family. The kind of family that donates billions to politicians for their campaigns. Those are the kids that are "safe" from abductions. Not the Relisha's of the world. I know this turned into a rant. I am so sick of hearing about children from poor families going missing and never (if rarely) coming home. This must stop and it's up to us to care enough to stop it.
