Religion in itself is not bad in my opinion whether it is Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, etc. Religion should be one which civilizes human, one which makes kind, helpful and develop brotherhood among all. But religion across the world, irrespective of the country`s development, has become a problem instead of solution for human development. Religion serves a totally different purpose when we see at politics. But it is wrongly projected that people belonging to certain religion share certain common interest, such interests are different from interest shared by people from other religions. Further even they spread that interests that are shared by people of one religion conflict with interests of other religions. This way clash between the religions start and grow.
If a human has to evolve and develop himself in a peaceful society, religion plays a important role. True principles of religion teach one to be tolerant to each other, helpful, see the the god in every human. It is attempts to make a person a true man. But on the other hand people are fighting each other in the name of religion. They are fighting each other claiming their religion superior than others. No religion claims itself superior, but only man is living under false perception. If it continues, in future major conflict may occur in the name of religion. Religion is a means for one to be peace, stable, improve oneself.
All human share similar interests and they are not sharing conflicting interests in terms of religion. so we need to discourage the people who are trying to exploit people in the name of religion to achieve their narrow ends. People are living in ignorance. They have to change their attitude towards religion to create a better society. God is only one taking different forms according one`s belief. Fight between on the pretext itself is irreligious. True follower of religion is not just worshiping god but seeing god in all creatures.
