I mean I got a spanking because I wasn’t a bad child but I never got spanked with anything except a hand and mostly just a pop on the but, honestly all you really had to get me to cry was yell at me (which actually still works today but I’m an adult, but still I cry really hard when some raises/yells at me and I will start crying and my dad and my calm down medicine is the real only thing that helps me stop having a panic attack, but anyway. But I don’t think spanking is abuse. You pop them on the butt once and then tell them what they did wrong and not to do that again.
