Cut out piece of paper to protect foot area of shoe on the inside. When dry, remove the protective paper. Voila! A new look pair of shoes.

Paint is such a wonderful medium to transform something into a work of art.

  1. Paint an old watering can with a flower design for a plant holder.
  2. Spray paint an old chair and re-cover the seat with an off cut material from the fabric store.
  3. Paint on old bench in the garden. Try an antique green color and use a stencil to apply a floral or leafy design along the top back-rest.
  4. Cut an ornamental palm or leaf from your garden. Use it as a stencil for a lovely summer cotton sarong. Secure the leaf with pieces of Prestik so that it does not shift. Dab acrylic paint on with a stencil brush.
  5. Stencil brushes can be bought at your local arts and crafts store.
  6. Paint a tired plant pot that you use for outdoors.
  7. Spray paint an old pair of wedges for one more season!
