Assalamu Alaikum..

Ramadan greetings to everyone. Hope all are well with the grace of Allah.
This month is much more blessed than all other months. In a word, this month is the month of worshiping more.

The common practice during Ramadan is fasting from dawn to sunset. We all fast for the sake of Allah's satisfaction.
While fasting, we spent all day worshiping Allah. I will discuss a few things about for fasting.

What are the rules for fasting during Ramadan?

  • From dawn until sunset, Muslims refrain from consuming food, drinking liquids, smoking, and engaging in sexual relations.
In a word, Muslims abstain from eating from just before dawn until the sun sets.

What is not allowed during Ramadan?
  • Food and drink, a person's natural needs. Muslims are normally allowed to eat, drink and have sexual relations.
But these are not allowed in Ramadan during the fast.

What do you eat for Ramadan?
  • Sahri and Iftar. During Ramadan, two main meals are served: sahri, which is served before dawn, and iftar, which is served after sunset.

What age should you start fasting?
  • From age 7 to the late teens. But start fasting about the time they reach puberty is actual time to start fasting.
