It wasn't ever really easy to go racing. First was the car. I started with a 1956 Ford Sedan, 223 6 cyl. Wasn't a power house engine, but it cornered better than the guys running V8's. Back then, 1981, rule for engines were limited to 360 cid. That first year was a new chapter since Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada has now started a new car racing club, it had around 30 cars that first year & I had 1 of 2 cars equipped with a 6 cylinder engine. After all was said & done. I finished 10th over all for the championship.
