[QUOTE OF THE DAY] #1: “Only in the agony of parting do we look into the depths of love.” (George Eliot)

After going through rough times like being left alone after a break-up, being faced with death of a close one, or getting laid off from work, we often hear things like “It is all going to be okay. You’ll get ‘used to’ it and eventually forget all about it.” Getting “used to” something can be as cruel as it can be when it comes down to love. We become so insensitive to love from our families, friends, and lovers that we sometimes tend to forget how lucky we are to be loved by others. I think this quote by George Elliot reminds us that we often live on our daily lives without realizing that there exist people who care and think for us. They say that it is the natural instinct of humans to look out for something new that can entertain and excite us. We get bored too easily but sometimes we just have to stop searching and learn to thank our lives for being as it is. It is now or never.depressed-woman.jpg
