Simply a really good middle of the road machine. You get your money's worth. I still carry this with my Tracker IV from Bounty Hunter. A pleasant surprise that still finds me stuff, both good and bad. A very good repackage of the HF9F with all the ergonomics and better depth. The search coil is also greatly improved strength-wise.. It also uses commonly and cheaply available AA batteries. 9V batts aren't exactly cheap these days. In its class, it's a good contender.
