PUBG news: New Battlegrounds release, Xbox One gameplay UPDATE

PUBG continues to be updated with new features, as Bluehole teams with a big publisher to bring the game to mobile.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has been released on a brand new platform.

Instead of investing in releaseing PUBG on PS4 they have released two mobile phone versions free of charge, only The only downside is that the free PUBG mobile games. Both titles have been released through gaming titan Tencent, who are also handling the base PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds game in China. One of the PUBG releases features the traditional Battle Royale format, while the other offers a more arcade experience.

PUBG developer Bluehole has finally released the major new anti-cheat update on PC.

The PUBG patch introduces a whole host of new measures to stop players using cheat programs.

"In order to foster a healthy and fair game environment we have applied a new update to the test servers as part of our preventive measures against cheat programs," -Bluehole Blog post

PUBG has just been given a brand new update on Xbox One.

  • PUBG's update 8 is available from 9am UK time for Xbox One.

  • Changed damage received by vehicles

  • Bluehole has decided to revert back to the old system of increased damage when hit by a vehicle

  • A host of bug fixes and gameplay tweaks.

  • the camera will remain in the correct position following a player's death

  • vehicles will no longer move to another position on the map when players disembark
