Just watched the 4 Part Series, The Defiant Ones and here is some great motivational advice from some major influential artists:
- If you want to accomplish something that hasn’t been accomplished, you have to be relentlessly and un-apologetically determined
- Be true to yourself. Be true to your art. Never take it for granted
- You don’t have to conform, you can be as raw as you need to be
- Don’t ever change who you are
- You can’t please everybody
- Deliver quality
- Do more, do more. You are the underdog
- Do it again, do it again
- Stay in the fucking saddle
- Treat everything like it’s your first opportunity
- Quit fucking around
- That’s it, don’t forget that
- GO!
This advice has really motivated me! Hope it motivates you as well!
