It has been over 2months of my being on steemit. I must say, it has been exciting all the way.
A week ago @supreme.yuma told me about how he wanted to impact the youths in Delta state with the gospel of steemit by creating a steemit hub with free Wi-Fi and electricity. I bought the idea because it was an excellent one. So, we decided to spread the word. I decided to impact the youths in Rivers state while he decided to do spread the word in Delta state; that way, we could cover more grounds.
So i met some of my friends and i told them about steemit. One of my friends said this, "the way you talk about this steemit, you can convince anybody in the world." i laughed. I thought it was a joke. So far, everyone i have told about steemit, have all registered and some has already made their first post.
I told a girl once in school, i asked her, "what do you like doing?" she was like, "i love writing." And then i proceeded to tell her about the steemit platform and so far, so good, she has made over 4SBD, from two posts. You can follow her @wynn.sparklez.

The whatsapp group
We thought about how we could give the newbies an orientation about the platform and how to register and also how to make their first post. So, we created two whatsapp groups. The first whatsapp group was a "welcome to steemit" group
This group is aimed at giving the incoming or not registered or people who are interested in joining steemit, a little briefing on how to register and how to make their first post.
The second group is the main whatsapp group for the hub, which is aimed at getting steemians with reputations and enough steempower to join us in publicising about the hub-TACT- and it is also where other steemians can be assisted in speeding up their growth.
The road so far.
I must say, training new steemians is very tedious. You have to be very patient with them. Today, i had the opportunity to gradually(step by step), using pictorial aid to explain how to write an introductory post and how to upload a profile picture. I was happy to be of help to them. They were also quick to learn. The journey has been going well.

The target for January
The target for the month is that, we aim at getting more than a one thousand five hundred persons registered and making use of the steemit platform.
Just this evening, i succeeded in convincing two of my sceptic friends and at the moment, they are all registered, waiting for approval.
The TACT page will be fully operational by tomorrow
