In these days of hardcore internet censorship, more and more URL's are being blocked on mainstream programming sites like Facebook.
Anyone trying to share non-approved content will keep finding themselves unable to share links online. For example, all my own domains have been blocked on the book of fake for more than two years now.
But content posted on the Hive blockchain has a free pass (for now).
And a post on Hive that is tagged #pob or #proofofbrain has at least five potential URL's it can be shared with:
https://hive.blog
https://peakd.com
https://ecency.com
https://www.proofofbrain.io
https://www.proofofbrain.blog
On Fakebook, links to Hive content displays in full with a thumbnail and everything, so at this point Hive content is fully sharable on the world's most censored platform.
So for a person with say 10 Hive accounts, that is 5x10 or 50 potential URL's to share content with!
As more front ends emerge, we can replicate as fast as the censors block our URL's. Posting content on the Hive blockchain is another way to keep it available online. Several people who have no real interest in blogging or cryptos but who want to share information, have been asking me about this use of the blockchain lately.
