Now that Hive has ditched any pretense of being a "free-speech" platform and the insider whales are just openly downvoting all non-approved content, the days of trying to earn $5 for a blog post are all but over.
This is still a very good blogging platform - in fact Peakd is the best front end I've ever used. And Proof Of Brain has the huge drawcard of links not being blocked by mainstream social media platforms or shadow banned and kept hidden from sight by search engines like google.
Living in New Zealand I have already had threats of imprisonment if I don't stick to government approved topics, and being able to spread content far and wide is far more valuable to me than $5 payouts.
So it's back to rewards turned off on my main account, and also mixing things up by going back to using this old accounts like this one sometimes.
