Oczywiście dzieje i działo się ostatnio tak dużo, że bieg zeszłego tygodnia (a właściwie dni około 10 wstecz) zatarł się już w mojej pamięci, mógłbym mozolnie je odtworzyć, zamiast tego chyba lepiej napisać o najfajniejszych momentach.
Środa 22 VI
W tym roku pływał z nami lajkonik (rok temu była to wielogodzinna akcja, bo miasto uznało że w dobie plagi ludzie i lajkonik nie mogą się garnąć do siebie nadmiernie) ale nie brałem wtedy pechowo udziału w obchodach.
Lajkonik to stara krakowska tradycja, co do której są różne teorie skąd się wzięła, w każdym razie gość przebrany za tatarskiego jeźdźca pomyka po mieście wraz ze sporym orszakiem - jeśli wrzuci mu się drobniaka tłucze Cię buławą "na szczęście" , no i w sumie udaje na swej całodniowej trasie że wymusza haracz, tak czy inaczej traktowałem to jak jakiś zabawny niezobowiązujący krakowski folklor - okazuje się, że to poważna sprawa :) !

zrobiłem za dużo zdjęć, mam nadzieje, że po starannej selekcji kolejne wrzucę innym razem - na ten moment spróbuję wybrać kilka.
Pływaliśmy łącznie czterema jednostkami (choć na niebieskiej ostrydze byli głównie fotografowie i osoby bez żadnych przebrań) .
Z pokładu Boudiccy rekonstruktorzy oddali kilka strzałów na wiwat bronią czarno prochową.
Byłem zafascynowany kunsztownością strojów orszaku i zaciekawiony ich ceną aż życzliwa dusza uświadomiła mnie że są one wypożyczane z muzeum (jeśli się nie mylę w projektach przebrań maczał palce Wyspiański). Stroje zresztą można obejrzeć w muzeum miasta Krakowa (pałac Krzysztofory rynek główny) .
Tak czy inaczej bawiłem się wyśmienicie - trzaskając przy tym do oporu zdjęć niczym chiński turysta, był to zresztą dzień pełen aktywności - bo wieczorem wziąłem udział w happeningu sióstr rzeki integrującym z Ukrainą, tez zrobiłem za dużo zdjęć - ale o tym innym razem...

This year the lajkonik floated with us (last year it was a multi-hour affair, because the city decided that in the era of the plague people and the lajkonik couldn't hump each other excessively), but unluckily I didn't take part in the festivities then.
Lajkonik is an old Cracow tradition, about which there are various theories as to where it came from, in any case a guy dressed as a Tartar horseman marches around the city with a large retinue - if you throw him some change he smashes you with a mace "for luck". , well, and all in all he pretends on his day-long tour that he is extorting tribute, anyway I treated it as some funny non-committal Cracow folklore - it turns out that this is a serious matter :) !

I took too many photos, hopefully after careful selection I'll upload more another time - for this moment I'll try to pick a few.
We sailed a total of four units (although on the blue oyster were mostly photographers and people without any disguises) .
From the deck of the Boudicca, the reconstructionists fired a few shots to cheer with black-powder weapons.
I was fascinated by the craftsmanship of the retinue's costumes and curious about their price, until a kind soul made me realize that they are on loan from the museum (if I'm not mistaken Wyspianski had his fingers in the designs of the disguises). The costumes, by the way, can be seen in the Museum of the City of Cracow (Krzysztofory Palace Main Square).
Anyway, I had a great time - snapping as many photos as possible, like a Chinese tourist, it was a day full of activity - because in the evening I took part in a happening of the River Sisters to integrate with Ukraine, I also took too many photos - but about that another time...
