I understand what it means to spend time writing a post but nobody gets to upvote your post but Never Give Up
I could see the discouragment written all over your face but I'm saying Never Give Up
A Calm sea never make a Strong sailor.
Keep posting and never relent, and keep being consistent posting what you love cos good things come to those that wait for it. There's a pay day. One day, a Whale will step into your blog and appreciate your contents.
Each day, you sit and compare your lengthy, good posts to the short ones with high upvotes and you can't seem to understand why you post hardly gets to $1 but I'm saying Never Give Up

Remember Gold passes through fire to get purified, so you're just in your purification period after which you start shining. It takes time but you could be very close to your success here on Steemit.
Remember you're not the first person to be here neither will you be the last. If the likes of @Ejemai @Gbenga @destinysaid @samstickkz @eurogee @tojukaka @nairadaddy @onequality @ewuoso could make it here when they knew nobody who could give them guidelines, you can make it. Just Never Give Up.
They struggled alone, made mistakes, got flagged and joined other countrys tag but today, these guys have already tried to make it easier for newbies like us to get noticed by creating a Tag for curating.
It just takes consistency and believing in yourself. The whales you see today, I believe they have their own story but cos we met them when they're already established, we think they got there in a twinkle of an eye.. @Ejemai is a good example of that. He believed in himself and that was why he never stopped posting even when his first six posts got no upvotes.
