The next on-going #promo-steem initiative is called Proof of Purchase.
You can earn an upvote in two different ways, by sharing a site that accepts Steem (must list a place that isn't already listed in comments.)
The other way to earn an upvote is to post proof that you used Steem to buy something.
For instance, I just used Steem to buy a Poker Hud (Heads up display) from https://www.sharkscope.com/
This time I used a website called https://www.coinpayments.net/
You can see merchants that use #coinpayments here: https://cryptwerk.com/companies/?
I used to only deposit Steem into an online poker room I used, but they use HITBTCPAYMENTS - and Steem is currently having issues with HITBTC.
If anyone knows of a way to resolve that, please do so as there are merchants out there that use HITBTC.
