Showing gratitude and thanks to steemit.

Next month we shall be making a year since the first Ugandan on steemit joined the platform. Jarau Moses started an idea no one could ever have imagined would grow this huge in the country in such a small time. People say that the initial stages of anything new are always hard but I haven't felt that with steemit. Although it hasn't been perfect, it has been exciting and fun, full of learning a lot of new things and discovering the limits we can reach at our full potential. There are no right words to express the gratitude for STEEMIT.

We've had quite a number of ups and downs down the path that we keep learning lessons from which we use to build the steemit community stronger. These lessons get us to learn better about ourselves and correct where one goes wrong. This especially comes when one is new to the platform, fresh from other rubbish platforms, they expect to transfer what they have been doing the other side to steemit. Ending up acquiring little audience and sometimes getting caught for plagiarism. But we are glad these cases get contained immediately because we each try to watch the other person's back and teach them on what to do better when something is not right.

I commend how steemit promos have influenced Team Uganda in growing bigger and better. The introduceyourself tag is always active with new users always coming in. This is a result of the hard work of the loyal users who have made it a point to get people out of poverty. We have put to the best use the steemit products we make; steemit tshirts, steemit cards, steemit flyers to create wide awareness of steemit among every individual we come across.
People are adopting better communication skills considering the fact that some even testify to having never spoken in public before. Personally I was really nervous the first few days of promoting steemit, but with the continuous practise and support from the team, I've over come the fear and I feel I can address any congregation.

The good times we are having in steemit are going to continue growing much bigger with the way things are moving. I honestly can not express my appreciation to the steemit family often enough for this much they have given to Uganda. Thankyou for supporting our community with votes that encourage them to post more often.
