The first computer programmer was a woman.
He is the daughter of the great English poet Byron, Augusta Eda (1815-1852).
In 1980, "Eda" named a computer user of the United States Department of Defense for his honor.

Ada Lovelace has been known as the world's first PC developer. What she did was compose the world's first machine calculation for an early registering machine that existed just on paper. Obviously, somebody must be the to start with, however Lovelace was a lady, and this was in the 1840s. Lovelace was a splendid mathematician, thanks to a limited extent to circumstances that were prevented most ladies from claiming the time.
