Light bulbs of the FUTURE, future, future, future

Today I went light bulb shopping.

I hung a dining room light so I was in the market for three bulbs.

To the super market, I go!

I found myself unexpectedly, like a kid in a candy shop looking at all of the different options! I strolled past all of the old school incandescent bulbs with a cocky attitude. "Why would I buy you!?". Even the CFLs didn't phase me. I was in the market for an LED bulb.

I approach the LED section, on the very end of the aisle, suggesting it's supremacy over the other bulbs. To my amazement, there were even multiple options for LEDs! It has been a couple of years since I last bought a light bulb, since I previously bought LEDs and they like, never go bad...

I found GE BrightSticks.

Okay, that's enough light bulb porn. Clear your history.

These bulbs are so futuristic, so small, and so bright. Thomas Edison would be in awe. These come in different levels of brightness, I opted for the 60W replacement, 9W usage in day light. I saw up to 100W replacements, but eh...

I do want to mention, that there were other bulbs called GE reveal that are "HD light bulbs" that make your room more vivid. Colors pop and whites are... even whiter. Basically a real life filter.

I will definitely be getting my hands on these here soon. Who knew buying light bulbs could be so fun?
