These past few days I haven't visited #Steemit and write something since I am very busy attending the needs of my daughter. But today, I must, I should, I will...
Last November 14, 2017, The Children's Month opening starts with Prince and Princess Runway, from different kingdom they are required to attend the said event. My little girl turns to a beautiful princess, Princess Shun Leanne. But honestly, her name comes from Turkish and British word means little princess and in the said event, she turned to a real princess.
The Children's Month Celebration theme is "Bata: Iligtas sa Droga!" and this event the Prince and Princess Runway aimed to help children gain their confidence and trust to their own self that they can walk alone without someone's guidance and teach them to be independent and that way, they will be able to stand on their feet alone. I totally agree with this kind of activity since my little girl is a shy type one. And since one of my purpose in sending her to school is to help and develop her social skills so in this kind of event, I can see if how far she improves. There is no awards or prices here but the thing that they can gain what's the real purpose of the said event, it is the best reward ever!
Yes! Prince Kyle Handrick got a long hair and I remember Cedie Ang Batang Prinsipe because of the hair but not the color.hahaha... This kid sometimes you can't understand but he and Shun Leanne understand each other. They were close friends since the start of their class last August. And of course, when kids are friends, me and his mother are friends too.
The Prince and Princess arrival is exactly 8 o clock in the morning at Barangay Apopong Gym but the program started after an hour or two. So, they got time to play with other princes and princesses.
I am feeling tired but happy seeing my Little Princess keeps improving especially on her social skills. Though this is part of her reward for getting a perfect score on their examination, I know she will fly with flying colors on her own journey. As a mother, I know I need to have time both work and motherhood but I know this is an important event for my daughter I won't miss it. I won't regret every decision I make if that is only for my daughter's goodness. And after all, no one would take charge for all what she needs except me.
I will get this opportunity to thank my niece for the hair and makeup of my little prince, our Princess Shun Leanne. For my mother who is showing a full support and of course, to my cousin Ate Nalyn and Mommy Tasing who's been with us in the whole hours of the said event and to our God who gives us good health and conquers what it takes and never put us in troubles and keeping our little princess Shun Leanne healthy and happy.
