Aadhaar Card scheme conceived by Previous Government of congress is vigorously implemented by current bjp lead government.
A 12 digit Card is issued to each citizen against which government keeps biometric data base of the individual. Any tx can be verified using fingere prints along with Aadhaar number.
But where government encroaching its citizens is to force this onto all with a deadline without realizing
- Not all have aadhaar numbers
- Not all have phone numbers
- Some people out of physical inability can not obtain aadhaar number as government does not go door to door to make them
- Some people just do not want to share their biometric data as they do not trust in government ability to protect it
So a significant population will not have aadhaar number. So making it mandatory will lead to cutting them off from the system which will be great disadvantage to them.
So if it is done this disadvantaged group will pay back equally to current regime by voting them out in upcoming elections.
Let it be voluntary and keep rolling out slowly but consistently. As time passes by all will have it.
Don’t force but keep pursueding.
