Man Cave with a difference: Amazing Scalextric Set:
Yesterday I had some friends over, and we cept ourselves busy, doing some manly things like brewing BEER, drinking BEER and BRAAIING!!
In between all this activity, we went to my neighbors house, as he was one of the friends visiting me!!
He is a bit of a car fanatic and his hobby, also extends to the miniature form, of racing namely Scalextric!!
He does not do things in half measures, just look at all the detail!! There is even paramedics removing injured people by helicopter!!
Also note the cabinets against the walls, filled with various Scalextric cars, it is a huge collection.
This is a very time consuming hobby, as all the figurines and cars are hand painted!! Just note the radio station!!
What is interesting is that the racing is programmable, if a person skips his pit stops, the car starts slowing down due to "Fuel Starvation", and only starts to perform better when the pit stop is done!!
This guy also has a nice, real full size classic car collection, all, Italian and all red!! He has a classic Ferrari, Rally replica Fiat, Racing replica Alfa, and a more modern Alfa!! Both his kids also drive red Alfa's!!
