Ashoka flower is a plant that is considered as a sacred plant by Hindu beliefs who settled in the Indian mainland. With its uniqueness and beauty, it is not surprising that these colorful flowers spread rapidly to different regions. Not only because it is beautiful, people are also fond of planting Asoka plant because the treatment is very easy. Ashoka plant is included in the spermatophyta division that can produce seeds and is a flower crop of two pieces. In general there are two types of Ashoka plants that we know that is high asoka plant and Asoka plant that has twig and pointed leaf. Ashoka plants have flowers with striking colors. From a distance we can see the beauty of the color especially if the plant is planted in a cluster and is active flowering. Ashoka flowers have many colors such as red, orange, yellow, to white. Ashoka plant leaves oval with a pointed tip while the stem is hard. Ashoka can grow up to 6 - 7 meters tall. Ashok plants are plants that require full irradiation to affect flowering. That's why the Ashoka flower tends to grow on the open branches in order to get the sun light easily. Asoka plants tend to be active flowering in the rainy season. If observed, the plants and flowers of Ashoka will give off distinctive fragrances at night in April and May.
