What is Revolut?
Revolut is a Fintech which has been around for about 10 years. I am not affraid to say, it is the best Fintech in Europe and has been growing substantially.
It reached a valuation of $45bn and just snatched a UK Banking Licence back in July!
A spokesman for Revolut said the company wants to expand its crypto offerings, taking a compliance-first approach to become a safe harbor for the entire crypto community.
This announcement follows previous ones from PayPal, Ripple and BitGo.
Stablecoins are booming!
The highly lucrative stablecoin sector, dominated by Tether's USDT with a market cap of about $119 billion, has seen a growing crop of new entrants. Circle’s USDC ranks second, at about a third of the size.
Revolut is slowly becoming a legit bank and is bringing crypto to the masses. It is part of this new gen of Fintech with RobinHood, N26 and so forth.
