Ethereum Shanghai Upgrade is coming on April, 12th if everything goes well!
This is next week already and as so much things have been hapenning gopolitically, in the crypto and financial worlds; it kind of went under the radar.
There have been a lot of speculation of what this upgrade will do to the Ethereum price.
At first, most articles claimed that has a massive amount of Ethereum could be unstaked and therefore would be dumped on the market.
Guven, the co-founder and CEO of Kalde has another take:
“Larger institutional players often base whether or not they choose to get exposure to a certain asset class on whether there is the option to get yield,” “Staking – but also, now, the ability to unstake – provides that option now.”
This is also the take from Delphi Digital's Research:
“ETH holders will prefer to stake ETH rather than keeping their assets idle.”
I see Shanghai Upgrade as very beneficial for Ethereum ecosystem and price by fluidifying the process to stake and giving the investor the possibility to unstake when he chooses to.

The market seems to agree with the second option as ETH price has been rallying recently!
