How are you doing? Language as a mode of communication is the key to engage and socialize around the world. There are many languages native to certain places and people. Language has always been a barrier for communication outside the native region. However that doesn't confine one to limit and stop from interacting and get to engage with different audience. The best thing about modern education and our inclusiveness with different cultures and languages around the world. English is a very common and widely understood if not spoken language. English has got a status of International language all thanks to its usage and availability around the world. However technology and internet has made communications more effective and easier. Now we have online language translators, real time language translation applications making it accessible to understand and communicate in any language we wanted.
Sign language/ expressions are other all time useful and somewhere better than nothing of communication. It's a simple form of expression and communication without any verbal. It's the simple form of communication we can make with persona not able to hear. Sometimes simp expressions can deliver what even words cannot describe effectively. As they say words have power. I would say expressions have also similar effect.
Then we have visual communication as well. Remember how we used to enjoy silent animations and videos back than. Visuals doesn't always require sound for effective communication. However in special circumstances and situations, visuals can do wonders and make a great impact on audience compared to other form of communication. Art can also be a great form for communication, it can have deep meaning and everlasting impression on the audience. Then it also depends on the interest and inquisitiveness of the audience as well , how well they want to take part or engage into such communications.
In today's era of internet and social media, i would say graphics such as emojis, gifs are also a form of communication. Today we can have effective and interesting conversations with friends, family and our loved ones with emojis 😄. Emojis are quite actually funny and even a cute form for communication. I personally use emojis in my everyday communication. There is also a rising trend of Memes nowadays on social media. Its also a interesting way of communication and is used mostly for entertainment and fun purposes. Memes are usually found on social media, whatsapp groups and email conversations as well. The features like WhatsApp Status, Instagram Story, Inleo Threads are new age communication symbols where a picture, feeling, song, video etc can be used to express ones feelings, emotions and message as well.
Emotional communication is also a form of communication we can identify, which is not as usual but can be experienced by us in our everyday lives. We can experience and feel the same with our loved ones and animals. Animals doesn't speak or understand our language. However they can feel our emotions and our love. Have you thought how animals communicate without sound? 🤔 Our emotional attitude conveys our thoughts easily at the time of need to our dear ones. Communication is only a means, however the real conversation can have different means and interpretations, if only one expresses it deeply and honestly.
