As I always said, each temple in Thailand has its own beauty, so you will never feel bored when visiting there.
Magnificent architecture with marvelous decoration can attract your eyes and impress you from the entrance to the whole area of the temples, from the Viharn (main building) to Chedi (pagoda)....., etc.
One of the most significant decorations is “Naga” which has a serpent-shaped figure. You will see Naga almost everywhere, i.e. at the edge of the roofs, on the edge of the stairs, etc.
According to our belief, Naga is supposed to protect the treasures of the temple or prevent daemons from entering the temple.
Buddha images in the temples are magnificent and look sacred. We pay respect to them and ask for good fortune and great success in life.
Many temples in the North of Thailand are situated in the mountains, so you can admire the wonderful view and get fresh air while you visit there.
