The gardens are bursting with color and the pollinators are having the time of their lives. All the flowers in the butterfly garden are in full bloom. The view from the back porch is oh-so-pretty.

The Lime-Light Hydrangea tree is stunning now that the flowers have opened. Even at night, the tree is beautiful.

This male Monarch is sunning itself at the top of the tree.

All the summer phlox are making a striking show and the butterflies love them. The garden smells so nice when they are blooming.

The honeybees are so busy gathering the nectar and pollen from the flowers.

This large bumblebee spent a lot of time going from flower to flower.

I took a few shots of him on the different zinnias.

While watching the bees busy with their tasks, this Monarch landed on top of the tower in the garden. I think it was just saying hello to me. ;-)

This new variety of zinnia I purchased seed for seems to be a favorite flower in the garden.

Unlike the monarchs I rarely see, the swallowtail butterflies are abundant this year.

They enjoy the summer phlox and I can see them visiting throughout the day.

The markings on these butterflies are so beautiful and I love seeing them feasting in the butterfly garden.
