With the end of the international break, Premier League football fans are once more excited as they anticipate some league action this weekend. Spurs fixture against Liverpool is definitely a must-watch as the reds look to maintain their position at the top of the Premier League table.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool pay Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur a visit as Premier league action resumes. With both sides being branded as legitimate title contenders, this is sure to be a fierce battle.
Delays in the construction of Tottenham’s new home ground will see them host Jurgen Klopp’s men at Wembley as the race for the title continues.
Head to head
With 52 meetings between them, Liverpool have recorded 23 wins while Spurs have triumphed on 14 occasions with 12 of those being at home.

Team news
TOTTENHAM
With no activity in the transfer window, Mauricio Pochettino’s side will look to bounce back from a disappointing display against Watford to reclaim their place as title hopefuls. Their inability to match their previous display at Old Trafford where they cruised to a 3-0 victory over Mourinho’s United left team coach Pochettino unhappy.
They will get another opportunity to respond to pundits claims of complacency when they come up against Liverpool. With the likes of Harry Kane leading the attack, Eriksen and an in-form Lucas Moura, they should be able to trouble the Liverpool defence who have so far let in only one goal this season.

LIVERPOOL
Already being branded title favourites, Liverpool will look to retain the top spot as they square up against Pochettino’s men. With four wins from four, they will be looking to continue a fine run of form.
New signing Naby Keita has settled in well with fine displays so far and will be expected to link up with Roberto Firminho, deadly Sadio Mane, and last season’s top scorer Mo Salah to trouble the opposition.
With sensational defender Virgil van Dijk in defence to keep Harry Kane at bay and new goalkeeper Alisson between the sticks, Liverpool look set to do more damage.

Verdict
This is a very difficult game to predict, Liverpool are in great form at the moment and Spurs are a very good team. I am going to go with a Liverpool win here of 2-1, a draw was tempting but I think Liverpool will have too much for Spurs in this one.
