Hace un par de semanas tuvimos un pequeño meetup para decidir que haríamos para nuestra despedida de año en Valencia. Entre los que estábamos en la reunión decidimos hacer nuestra cena navideña por 2do año consecutivo. Queríamos comer nuestro plato navideño y celebrar juntos como equipo todos los momentos de este año y que pensábamos hacer para el próximo año.
Decidimos que la fecha seria el 15 de diciembre y buscamos varias opciones de restaurantes y sitios para compartir y comer. Nos decidimos por un restaurante llamado Rodeo Grill, porque tenía los platos más económicos y es un restaurante bastante conocido en nuestra ciudad. Lanzamos la invitación y esperamos.
Sin embargo, un par de días después me contactó Leurys Fernández, para proponerme hacer una fiesta de fin de año dónde nos reuniríamos a nivel nacional a celebrar un Criptobochinche y además de esto, hacernos virales en las redes sociales. Se unieron líderes de varios estados y le dimos forma a la actividad. En nuestro caso tuvimos que cambiar la fecha para que todos en todo el país estuviéramos haciendo el mismo tweet a la misma hora. Hubo gente de Barquisimeto, Caracas, Cumaná, El Tigre, Isla de Margarita, Maracaibo, Puerto Ordaz, San Carlos y Valencia, reunidos a la misma hora y en el mismo lugar.
Acá en Valencia tuvimos una buena presencia que contó con miembros de la comunidad cripto de la ciudad y de la comunidad de Hive, obviamente . Gracias a @crisch23, @franchalad, @kathajimenezr, @kreuter2023, @lunaticanto, @josegrech y @universoperdido por asistir. Así como a nuestros amigos, José Lamus, Ernesto Lozano y Joe Garmendia por asistir a este maravilloso encuentro.
Luego de finalizada la cena, algunos nos fuimos a un par de sitios más porque no queríamos que la fiesta se terminara tan pronto. Fuimos a escuchar gaitas y al terminar allí nos fuimos a un bar con mesas de pool en dónde la pasamos genial.
Este 2023 estuvo lleno de grandes desafíos, pero el próximo 2024 estará lleno de muchas cosas buenas y nuevas para integrar a toda la comunidad.

A couple of weeks ago we had a small meetup to decide what we would do for our farewell party in Valencia. Among those of us who were at the meeting we decided to have our Christmas dinner for the 2nd year in a row. We wanted to eat our Christmas dish and celebrate together as a team all the moments of this year and what we were planning to do for next year.We decided that the date would be December 15th and we looked for several options of restaurants and places to share and eat. We decided on a restaurant called Rodeo Grill, because it had the cheapest dishes and it is a well known restaurant in our city. We threw out the invitation and waited.
However, a couple of days later Leurys Fernandez contacted me, to propose me to make a New Year's Eve party where we would gather nationwide to celebrate a Cryptobochinche and in addition to this, make us viral on social networks. Leaders from several states joined us and we gave shape to the activity. In our case we had to change the date so that everyone across the country was making the same tweet at the same time. There were people from Barquisimeto, Caracas, Cumaná, El Tigre, Margarita Island, Maracaibo, Puerto Ordaz, San Carlos and Valencia, gathered at the same time and place.
Here in Valencia we had a good presence with members of the crypto community of the city and the Hive community, obviously. Thanks to @crisch23, @franchalad, @kathajimenezr, @kreuter2023, @lunaticanto, @josegrech and @universoperdido for attending. As well as our friends, Jose Lamus, Ernesto Lozano and Joe Garmendia for attending this wonderful meeting.
After dinner, some of us went to a couple of other places because we didn't want the party to end so soon. We went to listen to bagpipes and when we finished there we went to a bar with pool tables where we had a great time.
This 2023 was full of great challenges, but next 2024 will be full of many good and new things to integrate the whole community.
