Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves - Sloths thoughts

Good evening buzzers! Sloth taking some time to check out the CineTv Blog page!

I thought I would do a quick review of the new Dungeons and Dragons film, but as I'm only halfway through, it'll be a partial review!

I must admit, I've never played D&D in real life, but I stumbled across the film and thought I would give it a spin. Apparently, the previous trilogy wasn't much good, however, I'm enjoying this new outing! A nice mix of comedy and fantasy adventure.

The film is based on the story of the bard Edgin Darvis, on a quest to reunify his family after his wife was killed by the evil red priest and his daughter 'kidnapped'.

So far so good, loving the connection between Chris Pine and Michelle Rodriguez. Along with their other cast members, they form a merry band of misfits seeking revenge and prosperity. There are plenty of twists and turns, a nice mix of comedy and the odd jump scare!

This 'family friendly' film has something for everyone. Well worth a watch!

Ok, I admit, it's a poor 'review' but I would suggest giving it a watch! And maybe later I'll come back and give it a proper review! I'm not one of those people who can remember every scene in a film or quote back line upon line! Slightly jealous of those who can, even after watching it once! My mind is all over the place, hence I'm writing this whilst watching!

Sloth out!
