Introduce myself: Embracing Web3 and Joining the Hive Community

Hello, everyone! My name is Singer, and I'm thrilled to be here, introducing myself to the incredible Hive community. I've been active in the web3 space since 2017, and through my friends, especially @svemirac, I've become familiar with Hive and its amazing potential.

What drew me to Hive is its concept of being a truly decentralized social network, where individuals can express their creativity and publish content independently of the dominance of large corporations. Since my first web3 days I was aware of its significance and potential to reshape our online presence. In fact, I've integrated web3 principles into many of my professional processes, convinced that this technology is here to stay and fundamentally transform our approach to the digital landscape.

So, who am I?

Well, I am a market communication specialist with more than 10 years of experience working for some of the biggest European and global brands. Since I discovered web3, I've not only integrated it into my business but also in my academic career. My PhD thesis is based on the potential of using web3 platforms in local communities, but that is a story I will share more about in my future posts.

But what do I really do?

I love to say that I am a "degen." I have aped into countless NFT collections but missed minting CryptoPunks, which makes me especially salty whenever I think about my lifetime profits—lol. However, what really helped me find my place in web3 is the fact that many traditional market and branding principles may be incorporated into it. So, over time, I started running a pure web3 Twitter profile where I preach about the best practices (ok, and some food) to more than 16k followers each day. My wish is to help common people who are discovering web3 to start their path to personal branding. This way, they can build organic communities and position themselves as builders, artists, or service providers in a way that builds long-term trust, loyalty, and sustainability.

When I'm not in the office, I am probably on the road to regional conferences where I speak about NFTs and the Metaverse (nah, I don't think its dead), as well as social commerce and strategic communications.

Why am I here?

I appreciate what the Hive community has done with this ecosystem, and what is most important is how it has evolved and stayed more sustainable than many other content creation platforms. So, I decided to onboard here and start delivering content. In time, I will promote Hive through my Twitter community and try to motivate people who are active in web3 to start using it regularly. To be honest, I think it has great potential and that many will decide to join when they realize how many advantages it can offer compared to other blogging and even newsletter platforms.

I'm the proud founder of Kindness Syndicate, a project dedicated to helping individuals shape their skills and grow their social presence.

On the other hand, I believe my expertise will be useful to all Hive natives, so it is a win-win situation.

That's it for now. It's good to be here, and I hope we will have the opportunity to meet each other and create some great moments together.

Cheers to that, fam! Sincerely yours, Singer!
