La Migración según la CEPAL (Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe) organismo dependiente de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas, en su Pagina Web lo explica de la siguiente manera “La migración puede definirse de diferentes formas. La definición más aceptada en la actualidad indica que la migración es el cambio de residencia que implica el traspaso de algún límite geográfico u administrativo debidamente definido”. Si el límite que se cruza es de carácter internacional (frontera entre países), la migración pasa a denominarse “migración internacional”. Si el límite que se atraviesa corresponde a algún tipo de demarcación debidamente reconocida dentro de un país (entre divisiones administrativas, entre área urbana y rural, etc.), la migración pasa denominarse “migración interna”.
Este fenómeno me a tocado vivirlo en carne propia, pues por la suma de diferentes razones me tocó vivir prácticamente 8 años fuera de mi tierra natal y vivo en un país donde a diario por alguna razón tocamos este tema en cualquier hora del día.
Por supuesto en esta ocasión lo abordaré desde mi punto de vista en el campo del Diseño, la ilustración y otros vértices del mundo de la comunicación visual.
Definitivamente la Migración da un gran impacto moldeador en las comunidades que les ha tocado vivir esta experiencia a lo largo de la historia de la humanidad, en mi experiencia personal he podido ver como el fenómeno de la migración trastoca a las sociedades que reciben oleadas de migrantes por x situación, en el campo político, cultural y otros.
En lo audiovisual he visto tocar el tema en el Cine, La Televisión, en muchas ocasiones se ha convertido en centro de la producción de documentales, cortometrajes, que muestran las diferentes experiencias de los migrantes, tanto las Negativas como Las Positivas. Por su puesto me quedo con las positivas, Las imágenes impactantes que podemos visualizar a través del campo audiovisual nos permiten sumergirnos y conocer historias auténticas, que generan en muchas ocasiones empatía y conciencia de estas situaciones tan complejas.
En la ilustración por su parte es una ventana para dar rienda suelta para contar historias migratorias de forma que despiertan sentimientos y así poder conocer tanto historias individuales como colectivas, como es el caso de Laura Guarisco una autora de cómics, ilustradora y arquitecta que en muchas de sus creaciones se refleja el tema de la migración, de hecho mientras escribía esta publicación descubrí que tiene un libro que se titula NIDO , Donde narra las experiencias de este fenómeno a través de su protagonista, llamó mi atención y trataré de obtenerlo. Si alguno ya lo ha visto por favor comenta tu experiencia.
Ahora en el área de la comunicación he observado que la migración a fomentado la creación de formas de narración que aborden la gran diversidad cultural. La comunicación visual y la diferente expresión artísticas han sido utilizadas para facilitar y promover la comprensión intercultural y para contrarrestar estereotipos y prejuicios relacionados al tema de la migración.
Este tema da mucho de qué hablar o escribir como es este caso, pues hay muchos puntos de vista desde donde se puede tocar, este ejercicio de escribir por temas propuesto por días, es todo un desafío y me ha gustado porque me hace investigar, leer más sobre los diferentes temas y siento que crezco con esto, recuerda que tu apoyo es importante para darle energía a lo que aquí traigo.

Migration in Art and Communication
Migration, according to ECLAC (Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean), an organization under the United Nations, explains it on its website as follows: "Migration can be defined in different ways. If the boundary crossed is of an international nature (between countries), the migration is referred to as "international migration." I have personally experienced this phenomenon, as for a variety of reasons, I spent nearly 8 years away from my homeland and now live in a country where we touch upon this topic for some reason every day.
On this occasion, I will address it from my point of view in the field of Design, illustration, and other aspects of the world of visual communication.
Migration definitely has a significant shaping impact on the communities that have experienced this throughout human history. In my personal experience, I have seen how the phenomenon of migration disrupts the societies that receive waves of migrants for various reasons, in the political, cultural, and other fields.
In the audiovisual realm, I have seen the topic addressed in film and television. It has often become the focus of documentary production, short films that show the different experiences of migrants, both the negative and the positive. Of course, I lean towards the positive. The impactful images that we can visualize through the audiovisual field allow us to immerse ourselves and learn authentic stories, which often generate empathy and awareness of these complex situations.
In illustration, on the other hand, it is a window to unleash the telling of migration stories in a way that evokes emotions and allows us to discover both individual and collective stories, as is the case with Laura Guarisco , a comic book author, illustrator, and architect whose creations often reflect the theme of migration. In fact, while writing this post, I discovered that she has a book titled " NIDO ," where she narrates the experiences of this phenomenon through her protagonist. It caught my attention, and I will try to get a copy. If anyone has already seen it, please share your experience.
In the field of communication, I have observed that migration has fostered the creation of forms of storytelling that address the great cultural diversity. Visual communication and different artistic expressions have been used to facilitate and promote intercultural understanding and to counteract stereotypes and prejudices related to the topic of migration.
This topic provides a lot to talk or write about, as is the case here, as there are many perspectives from which it can be approached. This writing exercise by proposed topics for days is quite a challenge, and I have liked it because it makes me research and read more about different topics, and I feel that I am growing through this. Remember that your support is important to give energy to what I bring here.
