¡Qué Tal!
Aquellos que han visto alguna de mis publicaciones anteriores han notado que el Mundo de Diseño Gráfico y la Movida Artística, es algo que me apasiona en gran modo y tengo varios años dedicado a este campo.
Cada vez que comienzo un nuevo proyecto es todo un reto para fusionar la funcionalidad de las piezas creadas con la parte creativa y que la comunicación o la idea que se desea comunicar cumpla su función con eficacia, sin embargo, con los desafíos exigentes de esta profesión en muchas ocasiones se nos olvida la importancia del OCIO.
El Ocio impacta de gran forma en mis actividades como Diseñador Gráfico o al estar Ilustrando o editando videos, desde mi punto de vista el ocio ayuda a alimentar mi creatividad y es sobre lo que quiero hablar en esta publicación, aprovechando la oportunidad que me brindan la comunidad de #Humanitas y por el equipo de #Inleo con su iniciativa de promover temas para escribir durante el mes de Julio, comenzando con el tema del Ocio. Les comento que me gustó mucho esta propuesta y trataré de participar lo más que pueda.
Entiendo al Ocio como todo aquel tiempo que dedicamos a realizar actividades que nos brindan algún placer; Como cosa curiosa mientras escribía el articulo pregunté a algunas personas ¿Que era para ellos el Ocio? y sus respuestas fueron bastantes variadas e interesantes, algunos me comentaron que era como una pausa que podías hacer y aprovecharla para evaluar lo que haces, otros me comentaron que es lo que hacen los perezosos, ósea hacer nada. Y aunque no conozco sobre el tema de la filosofía sé que hay personas que han dedicado tiempo a pensar y reflexionar sobre este tema.
Ahora Como diseñador hay ocasiones en las que escuchamos sobre este tema, pues muchas veces hablamos sobre la importancia de encontrar un equilibrio entre el trabajo y nuestro tiempo de descanso, entre el tiempo que tienes para ser productivo y el tiempo que tienes para recrearte y mas sobre todo en estos tiempos de trabajo remoto y el llamado Home Office.
Ahora que lo pienso un poco más, veo la importancia del ocio en mi capacidad para crear ideas nuevas y encontrar soluciones a situaciones, manejar la presión que se genera en ciertas ocasiones en mi trabajo, y descubrir inspiración en el ambiente que me rodea.
Cuando escuches la palabra ocio no me gustaría que pensaras solamente en entretenernos o perder tiempo, en vez de eso míralo como la oportunidad de realizar una actividad de hacer crecer tu mente, tu espíritu o acelerar tu creatividad. Yo lo aprovecho para explorar en el mundo del arte, por ejemplo, visito un museo o busco referencia de diseñadores que me gusten sus trabajos en libros o las redes sociales, en ocasiones salgo a caminar y veo innovaciones y carencias en las formas de comunicación visual que me rodean, este tipo de actividades recargan mis energías, me brindan formas de ver las cosas desde otro punto y me ayudan a encontrar muchas veces inspiración para mis creatividades.
Definitivamente el ocio y el diseño se conectan cuando se traba la máquina de pensamiento y ocurren esos bloqueos creativos, en ese momento el ocio funciona como el aceite que ayuda a destrabar los engranajes en mi cerebro, entonces es justo allí cuando pienso que el ocio es una pieza fundamental en mi proceso creativo.
El ocio también me brinda un pasaje a la isla de la desconexión en esos momentos donde el flujo de trabajo les da pesadez a mis pensamientos, sobre todo en el área de diseño donde todo es para ayer.
Así que considero que el ocio en muchas ocasiones es el corrientazo que necesito para recargar mi batería.
Leisure and Design

Those who have seen any of my previous posts have noticed that the world of graphic design and the art scene is something that I am greatly passionate about, and I have dedicated several years to this field.
Every time I start a new project, it's quite a challenge to merge the functionality of the pieces created with the creative aspect and ensure that the communication or the desired idea is effectively conveyed. However, with the demanding challenges of this profession, we often forget the importance of LEISURE.
Leisure greatly impacts my activities as a graphic designer, illustrator, or video editor. From my point of view, leisure helps to fuel my creativity, and that's what I want to talk about in this post, taking advantage of the opportunity provided by the #Humanitas community and the #Inleo team with their initiative to promote writing topics during the month of July, starting with the topic of Leisure. I really liked this proposal and will try to participate as much as I can.
I understand Leisure as all the time we dedicate to activities that bring us pleasure; Interestingly, while I was writing this article, I asked some people, "What is Leisure for them?" and their responses were quite varied and interesting. Some told me that it was like a pause that you could take and use to evaluate what you do, while others mentioned that it's what lazy people do, meaning doing nothing. And although I don't know much about the philosophy of the topic, I know that there are people who have dedicated time to think and reflect on this topic.
As a designer, there are times when we hear about this topic, as we often talk about the importance of finding a balance between work and our leisure time, between the time you have to be productive and the time you have to relax, especially in these times of remote work and the so-called Home Office.
Now that I think about it a little more, I see the importance of leisure in my ability to create new ideas and find solutions to situations, manage the pressure that arises at times in my work, and discover inspiration in the environment around me. When you hear the word leisure, I wouldn't want you to think only about entertaining ourselves or wasting time; instead, look at it as an opportunity to engage in an activity to expand your mind, spirit, or accelerate your creativity. I take advantage of it to explore the world of art, for example, I visit a museum or look for references of designers whose work I like in books or on social media. Sometimes I go for a walk and observe innovations and shortcomings in the forms of visual communication around me. These kinds of activities recharge my energies, provide me with new perspectives, and often help me find inspiration for my creative work.
Leisure and design definitely connect when the thought process stalls and creative blocks occur. At that moment, leisure acts as the oil that helps to unlock the gears in my brain. So, that's when I think that leisure is a fundamental part of my creative process.
Leisure also gives me a ticket to the island of disconnection in those moments when the workload makes my thoughts heavy, especially in the area of design where everything is needed yesterday.
So, I consider that leisure is often the jolt I need to recharge my battery.
