It has been quite some time, since we have received any exciting news(positive) from Splinterlands. There were quite a lot of questions arising about the team and what they have been performing over the past few months. The recent post somehow answers almost every questions regarding to it. The announcement made from the team of Splinterlands about the Set of rebellion is finally arriving. A lot is going to happen in the coming days and interestingly it is going to be a crazy ride for us all for the year to come.
I am excited about quite a lot of facts. This update has focused much more on developing the game and the integrity of it for longer term. I personally quite impressed about the upcoming events and the way how it has been designed. It will help the tokenomics of the game, as well as enhance the motivation of existing players to keep on going in the game. This change will literally affect the game in unexpected ways. Like the utility of cards, packs, vouchers are finally being taken into consideration.
Few key aspects that I am excited about
- DEC
- New set of cards (stake/hold onto them)
- Voucher got the desired use cases
If everything plans out next line should be SPS.
In my earlier posts, I have mentioned multiple times about any good news coming from the team would literally break the ice and lead the movement in a spacious way. Which sort of happened today. As soon as the announcement hit the community, the effect of it is already being seen in the market. As market shows the exact sentiment based on the groundworks.
We are going to need some crazy amount of DEC for the upcoming presale and the sales which is going to keep on going for the time being. As you may have noticed, there is not enough DEC for us all lol. Which is why the market is getting spicy and we are seeing some buying are taking place for both DEC and vouchers. Lets talk about Dark Energy Crystals :
DEC in BSC
If I am being honest, it does takes some time to digest all the details from the announcement post. Which is why the wave of purchase is somehow coming off right now in the market. As you can see, in the BSC version of DEC we are seeing some uptrend. I guess, some people really wants to get their hands on those presale packs. Which resulted the price of DEC to cross the mark of $0.0008 per thousand DEC. Finally after quite some time, watching DEC crossing almost 100k volume over the last 24 hours. That is quite an achievement I would say. Moreover, the buyers are pretty impressive out in here. This announcement might do the task and we may see DEC getting to its pegged value much sooner than we can anticipate.
Lets come to Vouchers. It has been significant amount of time, where Vouchers has not seen any significant improvement or use case since its inception. Which resulted in the price of vouchers reach its bottom low. Regardless of some events where the price of Vouchers has seen some rise due to some events but it declined in price as soon as the event was over. Making it reach its lower low.
But this recent update, literally is going to change the course of vouchers. I have been saving vouchers for a long time. I own License nodes, which helped me accumulate some Vouchers over the period of license's launch. I am eagerly awaiting to see what would the price hit in the coming days. And this time the price of vouchers would not come down rapidly, once the event is over. Rather its going to be a massive upgrade of use case for itself and all the hodlers of this particular token.
I myself am yet to decide what to do for this upcoming event. As I am yet to buy enough DEC for land let alone this event. Its like Splinteralnds is literally coming after my pocket every time they announce something for the community. This time it sure took many users by surprise. I am awaiting to see how all of this unveils in the coming months.
