Estoy en un momento de mi vida en el cual me siento feliz y es que estoy cerrando una etapa, organizando mis ideas, tomando decisiones importantes.
Esta semana termina mi año escolar, el último que cursaré para llegar a mi graduación de bachiller, esa es una noticia maravillosa.
Es una emoción que comparto con mis amigas y en especial con dos de mis primas que este año también terminan su último año de bachillerato.
Llegar a este momento es especial tanto para mí como para mis padres, ya que soy su hija mayor y se podrán imaginar lo contentos que están con este logro.

I am in a moment in my life in which I feel happy and I am closing a stage, organizing my ideas, making important decisions. This week my school year ends, the last one I will take to reach my high school graduation, that is wonderful news. It is an emotion that I share with my friends and especially with two of my cousins who this year also finish their last year of high school. Reaching this moment is special both for me and for my parents, since I am their oldest daughter and you can imagine how happy they are with this achievement.

Después de semanas de pensar en cuáles eran las mejores opciones de carrera para mí, una decisión que fue un poco difícil debido a que las carreras que quería cursar están lejos de mi alcance por ahora.
El día de ayer llegó la hora de llenar el formulario de la OPSU la institución encargada de llevar el control de las carreras universitarias para nuevos bachilleres.
Este es un momento muy importante, ya que de este depende mi entrada a la universidad y la carrera que voy a cursar. Estaba nerviosa, fue un momento gracioso porque se me olvidó hasta mi número de cédula y la muchacha tuvo que esperar por mí hasta que recordara.
Mi papá fue el encargado de estar a mi lado, sin embargo, yo estaba muy inquieta y se me nublo la mente, hasta que me calme para seguir el proceso de inscripción.
After weeks of thinking about what were the best career options for me, a decision that was a little difficult because the careers I wanted to pursue are far from my reach for now. Yesterday it was time to fill out the form of the OPSU, the institution in charge of keeping track of university careers for new high school graduates. This is a very important moment, since this depends on my entrance to the university and the career that I will pursue. I was nervous, it was a funny moment because I even forgot my ID number and the girl had to wait for me until I remembered.
My dad was in charge of being by my side, however, I was very restless and my mind was clouded, until I calmed down to go through the registration process.
Mi lista de carreras Universitarias:
Lleve en mi lista 4 posibles carreras y el nombre de las universidades de mi localidad.Decidí que no quería ir lejos de casa a otro estado a estudiar porque los gastos serían mayores. Lo mejor para mí será estar cerca de mi localidad.
Como dije antes, me costó un poco elegir las carreras porque mi primera opción, que era estudiar Diseño Gráfico, estaba solo en universidades privadas, así que con ayuda de mamá pasé la noche anterior al día de ayer, sacando las opciones para tener mi lista de carreras a la mano.
Cuando la muchacha de la OPSU me pregunto la primera opción que tenía en mi lista me puse contenta, la sorpresa fue que al revisar la Universidad no tenía esa opción para mi localidad eso me puso triste, porque siempre suele pasar que la primera opción que eliges es la Universidad que te otorga el cupo.
Bueno, tuve que quedarme con la opción 2 de mi lista como primera opción. Elegí Odontología, una carrera que me gusta y que es nueva en cierta forma, ya que esta no estaba en el pénsum de las universidades, fue este año que se añadió. Posiblemente, estaré entre los primeros graduados en esa carrera.
La opción 2 — Arquitectura, esta me gusta bastante y pienso que será una buena oportunidad para mí y la tercera Administración de Recursos Humanos. Me costó un poco darle la oportunidad, sé que también puedo ser buena en ella.
De esta forma, cumplí una meta para llenar el formulario para ingresar a la universidad este año. Es emocionante pensar qué carrera será.
Este es un día en mi vida que siempre recordaré, sobre todo porque mi papá fue conmigo para apoyarme. Todos mis compañeros estaban contentos y de corazón les deseo éxitos a todos ellos.
Llegar hasta aquí te hace sentir muy satisfecha y motivada. Sé que disfrutaré lo que me falta por recorrer para llegar a obtener mi próximo título Universitario. ¡Qué emoción!
I had on my list 4 possible careers and the name of the universities in my area. I decided that I didn't want to go far away from home to another state to study because the expenses would be higher. As I said before, it was a little difficult for me to choose my majors because my first choice, which was to study Graphic Design, was only in private universities, so with mom's help I spent the night before yesterday, taking out the options to have my list of majors at hand.
When the girl from the OPSU asked me the first option I had on my list I was happy, the surprise was that when I checked the university I didn't have that option for my location that made me sad, because it always happens that the first option you choose is the university that gives you the quota.
Well, I had to keep option 2 on my list as my first choice. I chose Dentistry, a career that I like and that is new in a way, since it was not in the curriculum of the universities, it was only this year that it was added. Possibly, I will be among the first graduates in that career. Option 2 - Architecture, I like it a lot and I think it will be a good opportunity for me and the third one - Human Resources Management. It took me a while to give it a chance, I know I can be good at it too. So, I accomplished a goal to fill out the form to get into college this year. It's exciting to think about what career it will be.
This is a day in my life that I will always remember, especially because my dad went with me to support me. All my classmates were happy and I wish them all success. Getting this far makes you feel very satisfied and motivated. I know I will enjoy what I still have to do to get my next university degree. What a thrill!
