I got pickpocketed in Barcelona!

Shit happens, even on holiday

People that follow me, probably noticed that I haven't posted on Hive nor InLeo since Sunday. Well there is a very good reason for that.

On last Monday we went for a citytrip in Barcelona from our holidayhouse in Empuriabrava. A 150 kilometer drive, but well worth it.
The day started of great, no traffic, easy parking spot, and we went to visit Park Güell by Gaudi. Beautiful, magnificent, even!

Later on the day, we visit the ramblas, the Sagrada Familias, ate some great food at one of the food markets... In short, an amazing day for me and my family. We took the metro back to the parking spot, and at 21u30 the last metro stop before our parking space, it happened. In a very crowded metro train, a woman that had acted quite weirdly managed to nick my Iphone with my cash, ID, driver's license, and bank cards in it. I noticed it at the next stop, and managed to immediately block my cards. But my phone, ID and driver's license are gone, together with the 35 EUR cash. Luckily, my Iphone was running on its last legs, so the loss isn't big there. But still, the feeling sucks incredibly.

The Placia Reial, ware my Iphone was last spotted, before its battery died

Despite all the warnings

During the day, probably 20 people warned us for "Pickpockets", so my wallet, with my phone in it, was in one of my front pockets. But still, even though you have taken all precautions, and you have been warned 20 times. They manage to do it, in a matter of seconds without you even noticing.

It's just afterwards, that put it all together and linked the behaviour of the lady with the stealing of my wallet and phone.

Theft sucks, and being stolen sucks even more, you kind of feel raped a bit.
But I am over it already, I bought a new phone, and am trying to get my Icloud copy on it...

Beware of "pickpockets" people, they are fast and pretty damn nifty!

Sincerely,
