Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! For my entry this week, I took the Cornealus card and did it in my style, adding some new things to the character. I really loved this drawing and I can say that it is one of my favorite drawings of this year, very simplified, but so attractive to the eye.

_Hola gente bonita! ¡Espero estén súper bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! _ Para mi entrada de esta semana, tomo la carta de Cornealus y la hice en mi estilo, añadiendo algunas cosas nuevas al personaje. La verdad este dibujo me encanto demasiado y puedo decir que es uno de mis dibujos favoritos de este año, muy simplificado, pero tan atractivo a la vista.

I started making the sketch, taking as a reference my mood bour, in which I integrated several references, which I used for this new version of Cornealus. The character itself is an eye and that's it, so I wanted to integrate several things to make it more attractive. I made octopus tentacles, since the character has a kind of tail or something like that, but I wanted to make him with tentacles. And besides that, I made some wings, if I'm honest, the general composition of the character was too good, compared to the original.

Comencé haciendo el boceto, tomando como referencia mi mood bour, en el cual integre varias referencias, las cuales use para esta nueva versión de Cornealus. El personaje en sí, es un ojo y ya, así que le quise quise integrar varias cosas para hacerlo más atractivo. Le hice tentáculos de pulpo, ya que el personaje tiene como una especie de cola o algo así, pero yo lo quise hacer con tentáculos. Y además de eso, le hice unas alas, si les soy sincero, la composición general del personaje quedo demasiado bien, a comparación de la original.

I apply all the color with the watercolors, starting with the purple color as a shadow in the drawing. I wait for the first layer of paint to dry and then I integrate the next color, which was the red and finally I add the green. After I have worked all the drawing with the watercolors, after the paint is dry, what I do is to take the wood colors and give them a little more saturation in certain areas of the drawing, since the watercolors get to have a very grayish pigment after they dry and with the wood colors I give them a more saturated touch.

Voy aplicando todo el color con las acuarelas, comenzando con el color morado a base de sombra en el dibujo. Espero a que seque la primera capa de pintura para luego irme a integrar el siguiente color, el cual fue el rojo y por ultimo agrego el verde. Luego que he trabajado todo el dibujo con las acuarelas, después que la pintura está seca, lo que hago es tomar los colores de madera y les doy un poco más de saturación en ciertas zonas del dibujo, ya que las acuarelas llegan a tener un pigmento muy grisáceo después que secan y con los colores de madera les doy un toque más saturado.

When I had all the sketch ready, what I do next is to begin to color it. Taking as a reference the color palette of the original character, I start to paint the whole drawing with the colors that we can see in it, which were red, purple and green, the truth is that they combine very well according to the chromatic circle.

Cuando tuve todo el boceto listo, lo que hago seguidamente es comenzar a darle color. Tomando como referencia la paleta de color del personaje original, comienzo a pintar todo el dibujo con los colores que podemos ver en el mismo, los cuales fueron rojo, morado y verde, la verdad combinan muy bien según el circulo cromático.

Finally what I do is to add a line art in black with the help of a mechanical pencil to detail those areas and make the drawing look more defined. I also add some glows in the background of the page so that it doesn't look so empty and that's it, that's all, that's all.

Por ultimo lo que hago es agregar un line art en negro con ayuda de un portaminas para detallar dichas zonas y hacer que el dibujo se veas más defino. Agrego también algunos brillos en el fondo dela página para que no se vea tan vació en el mismo y listo amigos, eso sería todo.
