Dry cauliflower curry recipe

I am here with one more dry curry recipe made by cauliflower. This is simple , delicious and healthy one.



Dry cauliflower is a delicious and nutritious recipe, which we can get ready in less time . This is an easy recipe. Which we can enjoy for our lunch/dinner as a side dish with chapati and rice. We mostly enjoy it for lunch with chapati. The combination of cauliflower curry , rice and dal taste also great .

I try this recipe with different combination. This time i try cauliflower with potato & tomato. Sometimes i try it with onion and ginger garlic paste . And some times i only made cauliflower with some herbs. I always add dry mango powder for tangy flavour. You can also add lemon juice.

INGREDIENTS ✅

  • cauliflower 1 medium
  • Tomato 1
  • Potato 1
  • Green chilli 1-2
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Mustered seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida 1 pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder 2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice / dry mango powder



PROCESS ✅

STEP 1 :

First cut the cauliflower in the medium size pieces or as you want and soak in the water for 15-20 minutes.
Also cut potato in small size .

On the other hand cut green chilli and tomato like this.

STEP 2 :

Take a pan or kadai and heat the oil in it. When the oil gets hot add cumin seeds , mustard seeds and hing in it.

When seeds start to crackle add chopped cauliflower and potato piece in it and saute for 1 minute on the low flame.
Now add salt and turmeric powder , mix well and cover with lid. Cook for 2-3 mintues or till cauliflower cooked to 80% . Stir in between.

STEP 3 :

When cauliflower cooked 80% ... add chopped tomato and green chilli. Cook for some seconds and add red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala . Mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes. Check the potato and cauliflower pieces. If it cooked completely then add some drops of lemon juice or dry mango powder. Which gives nice tangy taste to this Curry. Give it a good mix and turn off the flame. If you don't like you can skip to add lemon juice or dry mango powder.

Your dry cauliflower curry is ready to enjoy.

Serve it with hot chapati and enjoyed it with your loved ones.
