Hello friends !

Yesterday we celebrate janamasthi festival, a very famous and enthusiastic festival of india. Lord Krishna's birthday is celebrated on this day. Lord krishna / kanha is very fond of makhan and prasad. And making parasd for janmashtami gives an another level happiness and satisfaction. Because It is not just food or sweets, it is actually love and devotion.

Every year we make panjiri as a prasad for lord krishna. Panjiri is very special for janmashtami and also nutritious which we can have during fasting.

Panjiri is a desert made by coriander powder, ghee, sugar, edible gum and dry fruits. This is very easy to make which gets ready in very less time. Some people made by it with wheat flour but we always made it by coriander powder. I really like the smell of this parasd. And when any food is made as a Prasad, it really becomes very tasty.

Let's enjoy the quick panjiri recipe:

INGREDIENTS ✅

  • Coriander powder (dhaniya) 1 bowl
  • Ghee 1/4 bowl
  • Powdered sugar 1/2 bowl
  • Edible gum ( gond) 2-3 tbsp
  • Nuts

PROCESS ✅

Step 1 :

First heat 1/4 bowl ghee in a kadai and add edible gum in it. When the ghee becomes completely hot then add it. You can see how small these edible gums are in the beginning and how much bigger they become later on. That's why we use it in limited quality. This process took 1-2 minutes only.

After that turn off the gas and immediately take this out in some other container.

Step 2 :

Now can see there are some ghee left in the kadai, otherwise you can heat 2 tbsp ghee and mix the coriander powder in it.
The more finely ground the coriander powder is, the better it will be.
When ghee gets hot add coriander powder and roast it.

Roast it on low flame and stir continuously. This process also take only 2 minutes.

Step 3 :

When the coriander powder is well roasted, add edible gum to it. You will feel a good aroma as soon as coriander powder is roasted.
Now give it a good mix. And turn off the flame.

Step 4 :

Now let it cool down for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes mix powder sundar. mix this well. Now add some nuts as your choice.

Your dhaniya panjiri is ready to bhog.

This is really best prasad for janmashtami and And you can enjoy this even during normal fasting.

Hope you like the recipe. This is a quick ,easy , delicious and nutritious dessert or bhog.
