TTT - Country Rebel

Hello Hive Music Gang!

Welcome to another #threetunetuesday created originally by @ablaze.

You may or may not be aware of the upcoming election that has been running. It is a theater that runs every 4 years and probably the most broadcast around the world on TV.

This year we have a sort of re-run featuring the orange man again. He has been touring the country to large audiences making speeches, dropping a few truths here and there and promising the earth to all the special interest groups.

Many people have been supporting their sides very passionately. Voting harder will fix things that are wrong if only their people were put in charge.

The country does look more split and divided than ever before though and there seems to be some tunes that have popped up over the years to reflect this.

A tune I have been listening to recently has been God we need you now, which I think is the christian rock genre? I don't remember the tune when it dropped, but the cap he wears was familiar and I remember at the time the Lions not Sheep slogan in the peak of the corona times and this was one of the tunes from that movement.

Digging further I saw there was a podcast for it too. Anyhow, I really love this live accoustic version and it is a cracking tune imo.

'God We Need You Now' 🙏 Struggle Jennings & Caitlynne Curtis (Live Acoustic)

The second tune is a tune I do remember from corona times and has some pop/rap vibe going on with some great visualizations in the video.

The cap from the first video reminded me of this tune because of the No Sheep in my Circle slogan on their t shirts. Since corona there seems to be some rising discontent with the politics and direction of the country.

This was an interesting rebel tune where they want to break the algorythm and not comply with unjust laws and regulations. Are more people starting to stand up and say no to bad things governments and corporations are doing?

Hi-Rez & Jimmy Levy - Welcome To The Revolution

The final tune is from Conspiracy Music Guru with a cracking tune that I have really enjoyed this week. Just the slow mellowness of the sound and interesting lyrics.

The song is about a guy who is trying to wake is wife up to some conspiracies. I guess when you go down any rabbithole and discover something you believed to be true for a long time, you want to share it with everyone, especially your partner, but maybe they don't quite see it like you do..

We saw it during corona times with some couples being split about the vaccine etc. It must be hard to be with someone who is not so synced as you are.

With his name being Conspiracy Music Guru, he has some other classic hits such as I told you so, Space is fake and Flat Earth Man. I think he has the full spectrum of conspiracies covered for your music tastes. However, I have only really liked this tune so far.

If you doubt and question the government or mainstream media, does it make you a conspiracy theorist?! Being a conspiracy theorist seems to have gone mainstream these days and not so glamorous as it was when West Coast Radio was running.

Even Peter from Real Bedford fame classifies himself as anti-authoritarianism and anti-government. What does the future hold with so much distrust in government?

Conspiracy Music Guru - I want you to see

That wraps up my #ttt for this week. Do you have a favorite tune today?

For those unfamiliar with TTT or Three Tune Tuesday.... to quote @ablaze :

The jist is as follows
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #threetunetuesday tag that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize.

Be sure to head over and give @ablaze some support as without his great work, we wouldn't have a #ttt.
