Technology is an the present day gold and buying a thing into any form of technology is a game changer . Choosing to buy gadgets , Apps or dApps that can generate you any form of income is mostly a lifetime investment.
Mobile 📱, PC 's and other tech products gets expensive by day not because of how fancy they become but the value they generate.
A very old Tecno Camon 12 product has kept me going on hive Blockchain since March 2020 .
So long as it had internet facility and can stay connected, it made it possible to earn some tokens blocking on hive and equally carrying out some simple trade on crypto exchanges . That is the power of even the smallest tech product .
Purchasing tech products are one of the greatest investment we can ever make for ourselves . These products do not come cheaply and if we are to consider the prices you may never buy tech products, but for someone who is on a Blockchain and understands the returns that comes from such investments it becomes so much easier to pay the price of buying any tech product .
I can remember some of my photography lovers who went extra mile to purchase quality Camera just for Blockchain activities. While others settled for expensive iPhones and Samsung products which gives closer qualities as those of a real camera.
Hive hasn't placed so much pressure on its users and have respected and regarded people with humble beginnings , I have seen quality contents with very poor pictorial presentation been curated and I understand the reasons why such are permitted here.
Nevertheless for older hiver who understands the need for quality in both writing and pictorial presentation one has to take a progressive step forward , investing in gadgets that can make our blogs appear better and appealing to reader both in and outside the Blockchain.
Recently I have noticed a heightened increased in hivers photography , graphic designing and photo editing skills .
Some communities like our #needleworkmonday organized a contest on how we can take quality pictures for our blogs make photo editing using lightroom and how best we can present our blogs.
It is a good initiative that hivers are teaching hivers how to hive(blog)well 😃. Hope you didn't bite your tongue .
Taking this step and one decision took me a thousand thought.
Ever since the months of May ,I have been cut off from participating in several activities on the Blockchain , some dApps become not accessible because of a gadjet limitation.
I was cut off from performing in the
- The initial zealy contest
- Leothreads
- Using the new Leofinance UI and several others.
During this time a series offline savings was in place to purchase a new mobile but things didn't turn out as planned and this purchased lingered on for 6months.
While I was keen not to disrupt my Hive power staking goals, I had to take a major step backward to save the situation. Been almost cut off from hive, a power down was really necessary .
It is either I chose to power down and get a new mobile to continue here or keep fighting to augument my savings goals which may not manifest been affected by similar gadget limitation.
Purchasing a tech product is never a waste of money, especially one that has the capacity to increase our investment/opportunities.
Since this is not been purchased for fancy sake, extravagant spendings was totally avoided and only an upgraded and useful product that access the necessary dApps was aimed for and a total of 270 Hive covered the purchase .

This keeps ringing at the back of my mind even while I take a step back to set several things in order . A progress isn't often possible if the roots and right foundations are not out in place .
