Continuation of multiple projects upkeep proposal.

Vote proposal here ❤️

Short intro

The previous proposal has been completed with all services still available as outlined in the previous proposal which can be found here. This proposal is an extension of the previous proposal but will also include 5 hours of dev / maintenance work monthly (which is the total time spent during the previous proposal period, at the time no ask for funding for dev work was made).

What is the proposal for?

This is a DHF proposal to support the upkeep of multiple projects, it will also include a limited amount of dev and maintenance work on the projects. This proposal is to cover these expenses going forward for the year 2023.

What projects does this proposal cover?

This proposal covers all upkeep costs for the following projects:

  • Pinmapple (map where travel bloggers on Hive can pin their posts too, currently used by almost all travel bloggers on Hive)
  • Haveyoubeenhere (mobile social media platform for travelers with cross posting to Hive)
  • Buymeberries (Hive and HBD tipping functionality in the style of buymeacoffee.com)
  • Hiverrr (mobile Hive wallet on Android)

Costs break down

AWS costs

These are the AWS costs for the entirety of the previous year. It must be noted that there has been an upgrade to our RDS (as the MySQL tier we were using previously on AWS did not longer suffice for the amount of requests to and from @pinmapple). Not all of these costs are related to Hive-focused projects; roughly 850 USD per month are the costs related for all above mentioned projects (this also includes domain names, app store fees, etc.) not shown in the graph above.

Final proposal

I am asking the DHF for 1100 HBD p.m. (this includes AWS and other upkeep costs + 5 hours of dev / maintenance work per month), equaling 35 HBD per day for a period of one year to cover the upkeep of all mentioned projects above.
